SSEJ’s compounds are the focal point of the community. Activities on these premises include; education, emergency food distributions, health awareness programs, a mikvah, synagogues, feeding programs, work programs, religious services and other activities to strengthen the community. SSEJ also runs the largest seder in the world. We train and supply educational materials for teachers and send volunteers throughout the year to teach. At the request of the community we have provided torah scrolls, mizzuzot, thousands of sets of tallitim, tefilin, Shabbat candles; and run Shabbat and holiday educational programs.
